Mark 16:15 KJV

[15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

None of us was born already knowing the truth. We weren’t born with a full comprehension of Gods plan of salvation. We were taught it. Someone gave us a Bible. Someone introduced us to God. This truth is not just for us however. It is for everyone! It is our duty to witness to others. We all may have different callings, but one calling we all share, is that we are supposed to spread this gospel!

Witnessing is so essential. Bro. Ari Prado was once asked,” Will I go to hell if I don’t witness and win souls?” He replied,” no YOU might not, but someone else will.” The complexity of that statement should be more than enough to boost you off the couch and go knock a door, or shoot a text, or make a phone call, or turn to the person beside you and share this gospel. There are lost and weary souls who are thirsty and hungry. Share the water from this never ending well! Break the bread of life and share it with them that they may have everlasting fulfillment.

If God is calling you to Honduras, you pack your bags, and catch the next flight! Of God is calling you to the apartments across the street, you hop in your car and drive it up the road. If God is calling you to share this truth with your classmate, turn your desk and say, ” Hey man, I wanna share everlasting hope with you!” “I wanna share eternal peace with you.” “I wanna share the gospel with you.” Wherever God is calling you, just go. Don’t be afraid. I know it can be scary. I promise I do, but when God is with you, you are NOT alone. He will go before you. He will never leave you.

Let God speak through you. Don’t get so caught up in saying everything grammatically correct and sharing it all in order. Just give it to God, pray and let him do the talking. More of God and less of us!! We are imperfect and fail, but God is perfect, and God will always win!

If you witness to someone and they are rude to you, tear you down, etc. DONT GET DISCOURAGED! The devil will try and make you fell like you messed up, and your ignorant, and that there’s no point in witnessing or living for God period, but that’s not true! Those are all lies that the devil uses to deceive people. Don’t give up. You planted to seed, and God will water it! Continue to witness to other people and spread God’s love.

Don’t be afraid of being rejected or turned down on your church invitation. You might get called names. You might get doors slammed on you, and you may even get cussed out. Here’s where Jesus spoke us some relief on that matter. Are you ready for this? Okay…..

Matthew 10:14 KJV

[14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

It doesn’t get any plainer. If and when people reject the gospel you have shared, don’t let it get you upset! Shake the dust off your feet and keep on moving! Jesus spoke that! Keep going on. Keep witnessing. Shake the haters off and keep going right along. You planted the seed and you did your part.

Finally… we must stand up for this truth. It’s one thing to talk the talk, but when your faced with persecution for this truth, where will you turn? Will you coward down and give into defeat so the persecution stops? Or will you fight for this truth even to the end? It all boils down to what this truth means to you!

When faced with persecution, whether it be getting called names, bullied, lied on, or being beaten up….. or even… being killed for this truth, we have got to stand strong for the word of God. It all comes down to whether your in it or your not. What does this truth mean to you?

Just remember this:

2 Corinthians 4:9 KJV

[9] Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

God will NEVER forsake you, even when others persecute you, and when others cast you down, You will not be destroyed!

Hope you enjoyed today’s blog post! Love God, follow his will and his ways, witness and catch ya again soon.
